About the game

Parkasaurus challenges the player to plan, design and construct fabulous exhibits that maximize both the happiness of their Dinos, and the park guests’ satisfaction and willingness to spend money! Starting with only a dream and an abandoned park, the player will discover ground-breaking technologies, new attractions and a special bond with each of their Dinos, all captured in stunningly beautiful modernized 3D flat design graphics.

In Parkasaurus, taking care of your Dinos whilst discovering new technologies will see your park thrive.

    Exhibit Design:

Design success - each dinosaur requires a unique biosphere, which means the shape of exhibit, materials used, ecology, plants, elevation and humidity all play a key role in the success of your Dinos.

    Park Management:

Spend resources wisely to build the ultimate Dino Park with over 80 buildable items and 4 employee types.

    Dino Babies:

Nurture and raise Dinos from a small egg all the way to their full adult size, with over 24 dinosaurs to discover in the base game and many more yet to be added.

    Privacy and Biome:

Unique privacy and biome systems that promote creative design.

    Guest Monetization:

A dynamic review system where each guest leaves a starred review based on their experience.

    Employee Management:

Level up rookie employees, or bring on established veterans, to help run your park smoothly and efficiently.

    Chaotic Dino Escapes

Keep a careful eye on your exhibits as Dinos try to make destructive escapes and attack your guests.

Currently, Parkasaurus has entered Early Access. We have so many ideas still to do and would love the support of a Parkasaurus community to help us decide what to work on next.

There are only two of us working on this project, and despite being experienced game developers, we desperately are going to need YOU. Here’s how you can help:

  • Be brave enough to support our Early Access release this spring
  • Add us to your wishlist as soon as you can
  • Tweet about us, to us, or just talk about us
  • Tell your friends and family to support us
  • Visit your local MUSEUM, or ZOO, or ANIMAL SHELTER

And If You Read This Far, Thanks, We Love You!

Contact / Intro

To contact me or to leave feedback or suggestions for the site , please reach me at: WhatShouldISteam@gmail.com.

My name is Kolten. I have an M.S. in computer science from the Colorado School of Mines and I work as a software engineer. I love web development and I am always trying my best to improve.

I made this website from scratch and I maintain it in my free-time. I was inspired to make a powerful game search engine after becoming overwhelmed by my own Steam library, thanks to incredible bundle sites like Humble Bundle.

This site scrapes data from Steam and makes many calls to Steam's web API every single day. I do my very best to keep all of the data as up-to-date as possible with my limited resources.

Information

This site is the result of my desire to build a powerful Steam game picker that is more than just a simple random Steam game picker / generator.

I pay for this site out of pocket and get limited support from your donations, from affiliate links (Humble Bundle), and from some light advertising (feel free to adblock me if you find it overwhelming or you find that it significantly detracts from your experience).

If you are interested in an API or viewing some of the incredibly insightful data I have collected, check out the donation page to see more details on getting access to these things. I will also make a public API once I have enough donations to support its operation, but regardless I host the DataTrends page for patrons who donate enough!
